Our Story
Camp Bumblebee is a place where food allergy families can feel safe, included and empowered to be themselves, have fun and make connections with other families managing food allergies.
In 2023, three allergy moms, Anna, Ally & Sarah, dreamt of creating a family camp experience that is inclusive to people with food allergies. Knowing first hand how hard it is to go anywhere freely and without worry, Camp Bumblebee will offer allergy-safe meals and snacks for all campers, with extensive cross-contact and cleaning protocols. There will also be onsite medical care 24/7.
Families from across the country will gather for three days and two nights of activities ranging from kayaking and rock climbing to arts, crafts, and dress up. Our activities and offerings are fun, challenging and accepting of everyone’s individual abilities. We hope to see you there, November 3-5, 2023.
